India: A Doha-bound traveler was found with Rs3.8 million worth of gold.

Customs officials seized 788.57 grams of gold, or Rs3.8 million, from a traveler at the Kochi Air terminal in Kerala. The metal was covered by three containers inside his body.

Three capsules containing the gold were concealed within the body of MK Hakkeem, who was traveling from Doha, Qatar.

Two similar incidents occurred at the same airport last month. The bodies of Gulf-bound passengers contained approximately 1 kilogram of gold in both instances.

The gold was similarly concealed in four capsules. The gold was seized while the passengers were detained.
